There are lots of resources available to help prepare and support you during a natural disaster. Chinaman Creek Dam EAP 2023
Under the Act, the owner (Council) of a referrable dam (Chinaman Creek Dam) must have an approved EAP for the dam. Referrable dams, by definition, would put lives at risk if they were to fail.
This EAP is to be reviewed by Clonucrry Shire Council and the Local Disaster Management Group on an annual basis.

Recovery Information
Northern and Central Queensland monsoon and flooding – March 2023
The Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) has announced, "with monsoonal rain and flooding continuing across northern Queensland, more disaster funding has been extended to impacted communities."
"Loans for primary producers and small businesses in the council areas of Burke, Carpentaria, Cloncurry, Doomadgee, Mornington and Mount Isa are available too, with up to $250,000 to repair and replace damaged buildings, plant, equipment or livestock, and up to $100,000 for working capital to continue doing business."
