Florent Goy - "A Walk in Cloncurry" |
7 February to 28 April 2025 |
Florent, a French photographer who moved to Australia two years ago after studying architecture, embarked on a journey of self-discovery that led to a deep passion for photography. Initially unfamiliar with the country and its language, Florent used the camera as a tool to explore and connect with the landscapes and people of Australia.
After spending six months in Cloncurry, immersed in the Outback’s unique atmosphere, Florent developed a profound appreciation for the town and its community. As a way of giving back, a photography exhibition has been created, offering a fresh perspective on Cloncurry through the eyes of an outsider. This collection captures the town’s beauty, character, and spirit, encouraging locals to rediscover their surroundings in a new and poetic way.
Now, as Florent continues the journey in search of new experiences, this exhibition marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Australia. |
