Citizen of the Year
This award recognises a person that has made an outstanding contribution to the community or has been an inspirational role model for the community. Nominees must be 25 years of age or over as of 26 January 2025.
Young Citizen of the Year
This award is presented to a person that has made a noteworthy contribution and/or given outstanding service to the local community. Must be younger than 25 years of age as of 26 January 2025.
Community Volunteer of the Year
This award is presented to a person that has made a significant contribution in a voluntary capacity during the calendar year of 2024.
Community Event of the Year
This award is presented to a person or group that has staged the most outstanding community event during the calendar year of 2024.
Senior Sports Award
This award is presented to individuals or teams who have made a noteworthy record of achievement in sport within the community. Nominees must be 18 years of age or older as of 26 January 2025.
Dave Watt Memorial Junior Sport Award
This award is presented to individuals or teams who have made a noteworthy record of achievement in sport within the community. Nominees must be 17 years of age or younger as of 26 January 2025.
Arts and Culture Award
This award is presented to a person that has made a noteworthy contribution to the arts &cultural life of the community or an outstanding achievement in an arts & cultural activity.
Achievement Award
This award is presented to a person that has made a significant contribution to the local community or exceptional achievement in a chosen field.
Community Organisation Award
This award is presented to a community organisation that has made a significant contribution to the Cloncurry Shire during the calendar year of 2024.
Southern Gulf NRM Sarus Crane Award
This award is presented to an individual or group for their contributions to the sustainable future of the Southern Gulf region. The award recognises significant contributions towards land and water management, conservation and cultural preservation.
